Three free classes on evaluating a franchise

You've done the research...
And you still don't feel ready to decide.

Nobody ever showed you how to evaluate a franchise the way a franchisor does. You'll learn how in three short classes, from someone who spent almost fifty years on that side of the table.

Why more research didn't fix it

You already know more about franchising than most people who buy one. That's the strange part, and it's why the stuck feeling doesn't go away with another week of reading.

Information stopped being the scarce thing. A disclosure document can be read, sorted and flagged for you in under a minute, and some of the tools that do it now cost nothing at all. What no tool does is tell you whether that specific business fits the next ten years of your life.

That last part can't run on feeling or intuition. A professional read is a set of questions applied in the right order, and these three classes give you the set.

The three classes

  1. Class 1

You're not indecisive. You have no criteria.

Why more research never made you feel ready, and what an actual decision criterion looks like when you use one.

  2. Class 2

The brand is not the business.

How to see the business behind the brand, including the owner's typical day and the cost that never goes away. And why some of the most popular brands are the hardest to own.

  3. Class 3

What you sign today, you live with for ten years.

The territory almost nobody teaches, covering renewal, resale, exit and succession, and the questions to ask before you sign an agreement that runs a decade.

Three classes, under 20 minutes each. Watch them in one sitting, or one a day. The order is yours to pick.

Who is teaching

Greg Muzzillo spent almost fifty years on the side of the table that presents the franchise opportunity. He built a franchise system and, for decades, watched people work through the decision to sign into one. Nearly every one of those rooms had the same shape. The person about to sign had the least information there.

Selling franchises is not where his focus is today. He advises, and no brand is being recommended to you here. These classes are simply how this decision looks from the inside, shown to you while you can still act on what you see.

What this is not

No brand is being sold on this page. There is no call scheduled at the end, no offer waiting after the third class, and no brand you will be pointed toward. Cost, process, risk and the questions that protect you, and that's the whole scope.

  • No brand recommended
  • No call at the end
  • No offer after class three
  • No earnings claims

Don't rush to choose.
First, learn how to evaluate.
